Yesterday, Indiana introduced herself to our lovely readers and explained a little of what her role involves. Namely fulfilling immediate future’s recruitment needs, from internships to senior positions, and making sure that the workforce is getting enough TLC!

But she is not the only new member of the team. In fact, immediate future will soon be joined by Mark Donaliso, who is our Creative Director and we will even be welcoming Tom Ball back – although to a new and more challenging role.

Yes, things are very busy at IF headquarters and it seems that our growth is reflective of the industry (and no small amount of the hard work of my colleagues, naturally). Mobile activity has increased to 818.4 million – that’s 60.3% – and older generations are adopting social. But what about the big platforms? According to a study by GlobalWebIndex:

    • Facebook continues to grow, with 288 million active monthly users. Active mobile users total 189 million. In fact, mobile now generates 30% of its ad revenue.
    • Twitter is the fastest growing social network in the world with 21% of the world’s internet population using the site every month. Interestingly, Twitter’s fastest growing age demographic is 55 to 64 year olds.

    • Google+ is making an impact with 359 million active monthly users.

    • LinkedIn has over 200 million users and an astonishing 2 new users join it every second.

So now the challenge becomes staying up to date with all of the latest insights and upgrades. Well, if you are interested in finding out how the growing interest and opportunities in social media can impact you personally, then get in touch with the team. And if you would like to keep up to date with more of what the company is up to, then follow us on Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn!

Ofcom shows AI summaries are now common in search results, and YouTube remains the UK’s biggest social utility by reach and time spent. If your story is inconsistent, your evidence is scattered, or your customer proof is buried, lurkers can’t do the job of trusting you for you.
