Social media agency charged with driving buzz online

Centaur, the specialist business information publishing company, has appointed immediate future to run the online PR and social media campaign promoting Marketing Week Live 2010. The flagship event is run by the teams behind and takes place from 29th to 30th June at London’s Earls Court.


The social media agency is tasked with using channels such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to build excitement around the show. Campaign tactics will include blogger relations, Tweet-ups, social media consultancy and driving conversations with online influencers. This will ensure a constant presence in the social media sphere that will ensure the show is front of mind for marketers on the run up to the show.

The event brings together four dedicated exhibitions and conferences covering online marketing, data marketing, in store marketing and market research. At the heart of the show will be Centre Stage, where some of the biggest names and from companies including Coca Cola, Unilever, O2 and Domino’s Pizza will be presenting.
