In line with its continued growth, social media agency immediate future strengthens the team with two new strategic hires. Fabian Brown takes up the position of Account Director managing flagship client, Fujitsu amongst other brands. Gary Lewis joins in a newly created post for Editor.

Managing Director at immediate future, Colin Jacobs, says: “To get cut through, every brand needs to sharpen its content, targeting and planning to deliver outstanding results. We pride ourselves in always being at the vanguard of social. And as social marketing increases in sophistication, we need to be first with the right skills, the right experience and frankly, the best talent”.

“In these two roles, we have the perfect set up for growth, and are more than pleased to welcome Gary and Fabian to the immediate future family”, Jacobs continues.

Fabian, Account Director, joins the team from Sony Mobile where he was part of the in-house marketing team. Prior to that he was at a B2B PR agency with client accounts such as EMC, Logitech and Nikon. His career started with social and digital at his core and he has continued to bring the value of social to his clients and company. Better still, his time in-house gives him that extra insight into client expectations and pain points from the other side!

Gary takes up a newly created role of Editor – leading the charge on creative and social copywriting. He joins from Oliver Marketing at 3M and has worked with international brands crafting copy from headlines and slogans to long form. The new position creates a centre of copy creative excellence in-line with the design studio and plays into the greater targeting and need for personalisation now required for social media marketing.

Katy Howell, CEO at immediate future says: “We’re an agile team at immediate future and constantly adapting to the needs of social marketing. These new hires further deepen our propositions and allows us to increase precision communications in sync with platform developments. We ultimately deliver even more value to clients”.
