Meta and Snapchat to show off their new AR glasses

As per The Verge:

“The first big reveal will come from Snap CEO Evan Spiegel, who’s set to unveil the fifth generation of Spectacles on September 17th at his annual Partner Summit in Los Angeles. The following week, on September 25th. Mark Zuckerberg is slated to debut Meta’s first AR glasses, code-named Orion, at his Connect conference in Menlo Park.”

Instagram users can tag channels when uploading posts

Instagram’s introduced a new way to engage with Channels in the app, with users now able to tag Channels within the post upload process.

X boosts Grok AI chatbot amid revenue decline

Facing declining ad revenue and rising development costs, X is doubling down on its Grok AI chatbot by launching the latest version of the tool for paying users within the app.

As explained by X:

“Premium and Premium+ users will have access to two new models: Grok-2 and Grok-2 mini. Grok-2 is our state-of-the-art AI assistant with advanced capabilities in both text and vision understanding, integrating real-time information from the ???? platform. Grok-2 mini is our small but capable model that offers a balance between speed and answer quality. Compared to its predecessor, Grok-2 is more intuitive, steerable, and versatile across a wide range of tasks, whether you’re seeking answers, collaborating on writing, or solving coding tasks.”
