Avatar You Ready?

We all love a good avatar, right? And TikTok is no exception. A few days ago, Matt Navarra tweeted a little sneak peek at some new TikTok features, with one being customisable avatars;

You’ll be able to choose a face template and play around with the expressions based off your own face… Sound familiar?

Of course, it does! Apple’s MeMoji’s were introduced back in 2018 with the release of iOS12 (Animoji’s in 2017), and I’m sure we’ve all seen the hilarity that has ensued since. Let’s have a reminder, shall we?

However, it doesn’t seem as though these will be exactly like Apple’s version, rather just a still. I’m sure in time TikTok will have a filter for these and our feeds will fill up with cute and funny avatar videos.

Brands win when their claims are clear, proof is easy to find, and real people show up consistently.
