Screen-share comes to mobile Messenger.

After bringing the option to desktop earlier this year, Facebook has now rolled out a screen-sharing feature to Messenger video calls and rooms on mobile devices.

After announcing the new feature at the Virtual Partner Summit in June, Snapchat has released its first collaboration with Headspace; where users can now meditate socially and for free.

Instagram launches personal fundraisers.

As of today, Instagram has launched a new tool that will allow users to share and raise money for personal fundraisers. The fundraisers will last for 30 days, but can be extended at the end of that, and will be linked through a chosen photo.

Messenger gets Touch ID and Face ID.

Facebook has been found to be testing out an option that allows users to turn on Touch ID or Face ID within messenger, so others can no longer snoop through your conversations.
