Trending Christmas Campaigns 2025: Festive Favourites, Unexpected Twists & All the Cheer

Text that says "ready for Christmas" on top of a red Christmas jumper pattern

Is it me? Am I the problem? Or did the Christmas ads sneak onto our tellies WAY too quickly!!!?

So I guess it’s that time again – the battle of the brands to make us chuckle, and shed a tear.

Let’s unwrap this year’s finest festive offerings, shall we?

Coca-Cola: Old Dog, New (AI) Tricks

You know it’s officially Christmas when those legendary Coca-Cola lorries come rolling in. But this year, they’ve gone full sci-fi – the “Holidays Are Coming” ad has been rebooted by AI. Some viewers reckon it was a bit plasticky, but honestly, after all these years, the jingle still bangs and you can’t beat a bit of Christmas nostalgia.

Aldi: Kevin the Carrot’s Soppy Side

Raise your glass (or carrot juice) for Kevin the Carrot, celebrating a decade (excuse me, HOW LONG?) as Aldi’s veggie mascot. He’s in full rom-com mode this year, borrowing a note from “Love Actually” to propose to Katie in a trilogy of hilarious shorts. It’s silly, sweet, and thoroughly watchable.

John Lewis: Cue the Tissues… Again

Ah, John Lewis, they’ve done it again. “Where Love Lives” is a proper tearjerker. It’s all about finding a place (and people) to call home at Christmas, and frankly, it’s so touching even your grumpy uncle will get misty-eyed.

Lidl: Real Magic Is Giving

Lidl channelled peak festive feels by spotlighting its Toy Banks initiative, making sure no child goes without. There’s something lovely about seeing a supermarket ad put more emphasis on giving than getting.

Morrisons: Unsung Heroes

Big up the bakers, farmers, and checkout champs – Morrisons campaign gave a festive nod to the folks who keep our celebrations running (even if we did forget the brandy butter… again). It’s sincere, warm, and a gentle reminder that Christmas magic doesn’t happen by itself.

From carrots in love to AI, 2025’s Christmas ads are bursting with invention and heart. They’re not just about flogging turkey crowns – it’s connection, community, and a good laugh (or cry) that really make the season bright.

So pop the kettle on, settle in, and let the Christmas ad bingo commence – and if you’re not humming “Holidays Are Coming” by the end, well, you must be The Grinch.

What’s your fav from this year?

Design and disability are so often discussed in terms of basic “accommodation” and “access,” yet my visit to the V&A’s Design and Disability exhibition completely shifted that perspective. Rather than framing disability as an issue to be fixed, the exhibition presents it as a culture, a rich set of identities, and a radical design force shaping practice from the 1940s right up to today.

Lurkers are your biggest audience and they’re deciding in silence. They watch in feeds, sanity-check you in comments, communities and reviews, then repeat whatever proof is easiest to quote internally. That’s why social feels harder, it’s no longer a click machine, it’s an answer surface. Ofcom shows AI summaries are now common in search results, and YouTube remains the UK’s biggest social utility by reach and time spent. If your story is inconsistent, your evidence is scattered, or your customer proof is buried, lurkers can’t do the job of trusting you for you.
