Facebook adds new functionality to its Portal

Move over Zoom, because Facebook has rolled out significant upgrades to its portal. Users can now jump in and out of the video hangout option via their Portal device – they’ve also added digital background options, similar to what we’ve seen in other conferencing apps.

WhatsApp has announced the launch of in-app payments. Users in Brazil will be the first to be able to send and receive money through the messaging app, using Facebook Pay.
