BeReal, the new social media platform, is giving people something to talk about, and that’s all because it offers a new way of posting and sharing: it only allows one post per day, and the time to post is marked by the app itself. On top of that, the photo that users can share is taken directly from the phone’s front AND back cameras, without the possibility of adding filters to it. So basically, it’s a social platform where “authenticity is valued”, since users show what they are doing at the time the app sends the notification and, in addition, they can’t edit the posts.

But how can companies adapt to this new social media platform? How can you use BeReal in your company profile or business?

BeReal can be a real challenge for organisations to adopt since the app puts some obstacles to the traditional practice of social media marketing. For instance, the explicit promotion of products is prohibited, and it is difficult to plan the type of content to be uploaded.
