Does your marketing plan include the holidays? Well it should. Tiktok has launched a whole mini-site to help you out. It is full of holiday insights, tips and tricks. They also released a handy infographic which we’ve featured below. It’s packed full of juicy insights that should get you thinking about your holiday marketing strategy. In light of the recent global economic down-turn, marketers could well be worried that their audiences’ purse strings are drawn too tight but the trend that we are seeing is that the average uk consumer is spending a little and often in the run up to Christmas, instead of all in one splurge. This strategy is bourne out by this piece from linkedin.

Our main impressions we’ve gleaned from the infographic:

Shopping has already started. A whopping 87% of Tiktok users say they’ve already started shopping for a winter holiday.

Take part in holiday trends : The TikTok community celebrates different holidays, traditions and cultures. Paying attention to how users bring their own celebrations to the ForYou Feed sets the stage for how marketers can join in on the #HolidayVibes—making your brand and products a part of the holiday story.

Use it as an opportunity to generate leads : More than two-thirds of those exposed to Lead Generation Ads say they catch their attention. Drum up demand for your brand and capture interested shoppers for early access sales, seasonal promos, and product drops via website form or an instant form that lives directly in In-Feed Ads.

Whatever holiday you plan to celebrate this winter, we hope you’ve learnt something from todays infographic. If you want to chat about holiday marketing, or anything else then we’re all ears, just head over to the Immediate Future website to contact us!
